Learn to Type
Master touch typing with our structured lessons. Start from the basics and progress to advanced speed training.
Our Learning Methodology
Our typing curriculum is designed using proven pedagogical principles that help you build muscle memory and typing fluency systematically. Each lesson builds on the previous one, ensuring a solid foundation before moving to more complex key combinations.
Home Row Foundation
Start with ASDF JKL; keys - the foundation of touch typing. Master finger placement before adding complexity.
Progressive Difficulty
New keys are introduced gradually. Each lesson adds 2-4 new keys while reinforcing previously learned ones.
Speed Building
Once accuracy is solid, advanced lessons focus on increasing WPM through common word patterns and drills.
Your Learning Path
Beginner: Home Row Mastery
Learn proper finger positioning on the home row (ASDF JKL;). Build the muscle memory that forms the foundation of touch typing. Target: 15-20 WPM with 95% accuracy.
Intermediate: Full Keyboard
Expand to top and bottom rows, numbers, and common punctuation. Practice real words and sentences to build typing rhythm. Target: 30-40 WPM with 95% accuracy.
Advanced: Speed Training
Focus on common word combinations, practice difficult letter sequences, and build speed through timed exercises. Target: 50-70 WPM with 97% accuracy.
Expert: Exam Ready
Practice with exam-specific content, time pressure, and complex passages. Perfect for government exam preparation. Target: 70+ WPM with 98% accuracy.

Tips for Effective Learning
- Don't look at the keyboard - Trust muscle memory, even if you make mistakes initially
- Prioritize accuracy over speed - Speed naturally improves with consistent practice
- Practice daily for 15-30 minutes - Short, consistent sessions beat occasional long ones
- Return fingers to home row - After each keystroke, fingers should reset to ASDF JKL;
- Use all ten fingers - Each finger has designated keys for maximum efficiency
- Take breaks - Stretch your hands and wrists every 30 minutes to prevent strain
